Pluogh Shear mixer is equipped with a standard ploughshare spindle and a combination of cross-flying knives. When working, the plow blade spindle for circular motion, the material is plow blade blade surface shunt into two directions to form a two-way material flow, and both sides of the plow blade shunt over the material cross each other to form an uninterrupted vortex centrifugal material flow, when the material flows through the high-speed fly cutter and by the high-speed fly cutter blade shear and sprinkle, so as to achieve uniformity of mixing in a very short period of time. Boot discharge to ensure that the material by the plow blade pushed to the center of the cylinder outlet position to ensure that the discharge of clean materials.

The latest mixers are constantly improving the design to ensure that the position of the plow is installed in the axial direction in a staggered and continuous manner, avoiding the dead angle of mixing. Sophisticated structural design and excellent production technology not only ensure that the machine has a very low failure rate, but also excellent mixing uniformity and good production efficiency.

Applications

working principle

The plough shear mixer consists of a cylindrical drum containing plough shaped mixing elements that are mounted on a horizontal shaft. The agitator's shaft is positioned in the centre of the drum and has welded / bolted arms on which the "Plough" shaped mixing elements are mounted. The plough shear mixer gets its name because of these plough shaped mixing elements. Independently driven high-speed choppers may be installed to disperse agglomerations and control granulation during the mixing process

In operation, material is loaded through the top inlet. The working volume of the plough shear mixer ranges from 30% to 60% of the plow tooltotal drum volume. The shaft rotates at higher speed, producing a plough tip speed of more than 200 meters per minute to effect a fluidizing action. The ploughs throw the material upward, and the material settles in a random pattern. The size, shape, positioning, and peripheral speed of the ploughs are coordinated in such a way that they produce a whirling, three-dimensional product movement. The turbulence and material movement within the mixer container prevents formation of dead-spots or low-movement zones and ensures fast and homogenous mixing. The ploughs are designed to lift the material from the inside wall of the container without squashing the particles against the wall

Ploughshear mixer is intended and enhanced on basis of main stream mixing technique and it is appropriate for mixing multi-material. Plough shear mixer can be used for the procedure of solid powder material, granule material. It is also capable of performing course mixing in which there is a necessity for extra liquid. These mixers are extensively preferred for application in building material, chemical, food etc.

Flexible Material Selection

Material of plough dryer can be chosen from SS304, 316L, and 321, carbon steel, manganese steel, as well different material can also be used in mixture. Material is dissimilar among the part of contact with the raw material and the parts don`t contact with the material. Exterior treatment for SS contains mirror polishing sandblasting, polishing, wiredrawing all can be used in changed parts of a mixer.

Reliable Driven Unit

The driven unit, power and output speed is diverse according to dissimilar processing, raw material, and starting method. Option for motor are energy saving motor, high efficiency, frequency motor, explosion-proof motors and general motors, variable Commonly used reducers are planetary gear reducer, universal gear reducer, cycloid reducer, F-series gear box R-series, and K-series. Commonly used connections are hydraulic coupler connection, pulley connection, and direct connection.

Ploughshear Mixer – High Efficiency Unit

The ploughshear mixer comprises of plough heads which can be dismountable, providing an option of easier replacement. Wear-resistance treatment is complete on the plough, making the plough is more modified to the rigorous wear conditions. Dissimilar main shaft agitators can be capable of according to the properties of raw materials.

Main shaft agitators are shaver-shaped paddle, saw-toothed plough, and ordinary plough; high speed choppers are multiple-piece cross blade and double-piece lotus blade.

Ploughshear mixer & dryer is a single shaft compulsory mixing equipments. Some sets of plough shears are installed on the main shaft in dislocation, which avoids the mixing dead zone in the structure. While processing, the material in the mixer tank moves in the direction of the votex centrifugal force generated by the constantly blending plough shears, hence to achieve scattering, dispersing and fast mixing of material.

In a plough shear mixer for materials like fiber or some damp agglomerate, a high-speed chopper can be placed in the mixer tank for scattering and dispensing the materials with combination of plough shear mixing agiator.

The position of the high speed choppers is set at a downward angle of 45 degrees (barrel side) of the plough shear mixer and the chopper heads stretch into the barrel. While mixing, materials are brought to the effective range of the chopper and sheared at high speed.

Sloping blades or plough blades are set on single shaft. When plough mixer is operating, the material is continuously mixed by the special structure. The dead corner is avoided with radial and longitudinal movement simultaneously, hence highly accurate mixing is achieved.
